Flow is that state of being where you feel fully alive, present, clear-minded, and focused on what you’re doing. When you’re in flow you’re more effective, you feel alive, and you are able to achieve better results.
These tasks may be:
- challenging, but not so much that they are impossible
- rewarding, meaning that a person gets a sense of pleasure or purpose from doing it
- in-depth, involving an investment of some time or energy to make progress
Examples of flow activities are:
- playing sports
- playing games
- reading
- creative hobbies, such as playing an instrument or drawing
- doing crafts and making things
- solving puzzles
- gardening
